One month after writing this HP dv6 battery review, the battery will now last no longer than 5-10 minutes. Based on the relatively low price, I guess one has to chalk it up to "you get what you pay for." But had I known, I wouldn't have wasted my time. This is OE at a fraction of the cost elsewhere. The original HP dv6 battery died after 3 years, so the lap is good for a while longer.
The replacement HP dv6 battery for my HP dv-6-1030 laptop worked perfectly. I went to a local computer store and they wanted $100.00 for a battery. I was hesitant but very happy with the results. The battery has taken me away from the cord and I'm able to enjoy surfing the the net again. Very good quality, fast shipping, will share with friends. definitely a steal.....
I was very happy with my HP dv6 battery purchase. The battery is exact for my computer and was delivered very quickly. I Would use them again if I needed a battery. I've used this battery for a month now. It was very cost effective, fast shipping, and would recommend it for your HP Laptop. HP dv6 battery works perfectly in my HP Pavilion dv6-1030us. I get at least 2 hours of battery time with it, the same as with the original battery. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.
I bought this HP dv6 battery for my HP because it seemed like a steal (the last replacement battery I bought for my laptop cost me over $100 but lasted for over 2 years and could hold a charge for about 4 hours). This HP dv6 battery fit perfectly on my HP laptop! No complaints! I'm back in action, don't have to see that message during the booting up of computer saying my battery is bad! No problems as of yet. I hope it last awhile!
