What good  unique iphone 5 cases is that if the replacement is no better? I got the most expensive defender there was, I have a stick on protector under the defender protector and good thing too because it is pitted and scratched. Have had the unique iphone 5 cases for about a week and a half and the built in protector is already pitted and scratched. Dust comes in around the opening for the camera as well as around the front sensors, the openings for the speaks and god knows where else.

With this Unique iphone 5 cases on, the iPhone 5 is bigger than the 4. And the Unique iphone 5 cases sits so high off the screen (like the screen is in a level ditch) and so close to the edge of the screen, it makes it really uncomfortable to do basic tasks.
I've had my iPhone 5 and unique iphone 5 cases Defender about a week now. I also used an Otterbox Defender on my iPhone 4, and I find this version a big improvement.The silicone outer layer on my Unique iphone 5 cases was very thin, and stretched with use over time, resulting in the port covers not staying closed. Also I found that the Unique iphone 5 cases blocked my finger motion, making it difficult to swipe out to the very edge of the screen.Both of these issues are addressed in the iPhone 5 Defender.
